RIANI - on the path to even more sustainability


RIANI actively promotes sustainability and strives to integrate environmentally friendly and socially responsible practices into its entire production chain. This is evident in the selection of high-quality, sustainable materials and suppliers. RIANI places great importance on transparency and fair working conditions to ensure that fashion is not only stylish but also responsibly produced.


ECO-FRIENDLY MATERIAL



RIANI is constantly moving towards sustainability and continues to place great emphasis on sustainable and environmentally friendly materials this season. RIANI uses organic cotton for the authentic denim quality 3398 and the knit quality 8170.


When selecting the fabric suppliers, RIANI pays great attention to sustainable production. The carefully selected fabric qualities 2076 Popeline Stretch, 3915 Japan Techo, 7909 Cotton Jersey and 8158 Rib Jersey meet these high standards.



MULESING FREE

In the textile industry, mulesing is known as a controversial method of protecting sheep from fly infestation. RIANI does not use this method and uses certified Merino Extrafine in the qualities 7534 Merino Extrafine, 8305 Cosy Shine and 8320 Nugget Knit. This certification confirms that the Merino Extrafine used is 100% non-mulesed.




RECYCLED MATERIAL



RIANI not only uses recycled materials in its collections, but also only uses garment covers made from 100% recycled polyester and biodegradable plastics.

Recycled polyester can be found in the RIANI collection in the quality 4170 Hammerd Satin: Sustainable and stylish!


MADE IN ITALY

RIANI focusses on European countries for the production of its collections, as this is associated with high quality standards. The company has a particularly close relationship with Italy, where a large number of high-quality garments are produced. These include the qualities 3401 Hi Stretch Denim, 5431 Glencheck Jersey and 8257 Skinsoft De Luxe.


VISCOSE

RIANI continues to rely on the use of viscose in the new collection. The fibre, which is used in the qualities 3987 All Time Suit, 4331Checkers, 4335 Winter Flowers and 7271 Eco Viscose is made from certified renewable wood sources and undergoes an environmentally conscious manufacturing process.



CASHMERE

The Good Cashmere Standard (GCS) is an independent standard for sustainable cashmere – an award that recognises species-appropriate farming, fair payment and high environmental standards. RIANI uses certified cashmere in the qualities 8281 Pure Cashmere and 8282 Cashmere Mix.
